Report – Artificial Intelligence and the People’s Liberation Army

By leveraging Datenna’s unique dataset of Chinese military procurements after 2020, we have evaluated Beijing’s effort to prepare for “intelligentized” warfare. We have identified several key themes in the Chinese defense sector’s pursuit of advanced AI technology: infrastructure security, information gathering, training, and the much-discussed intelligent combat systems.
